Tiki is a state of mind. So much more than just a South Pacific fantasy, it was the antidote for repressed Americans in a post war climate. Hula girls, tropical drinks and exotic sounds helped usher in an era of suburban paganism. For some, it represents a total lapse of common sense and good taste in recent history. For others it stands as a noble attempt for modern man to recreate paradise in his own backyard. We would like to pay homage to the great Tiki gods such as Trader Vic and Don the Beachcomber, and not only defend, but pay respect to a treasured chapter in our history. We’ll be serving up delicious Tiki drinks and food specials all week!
